Melissa and her husband are walking through a challenging season right now. Melissa is battling breast cancer, and as many can imagine, that comes with a heavy emotional and physical load for their family. On top of everything else they are facing, there is also a need for a roof replacement. Melissa’s husband, Dan, is a Vietnam Veteran, and this family is doing their best to keep moving forward while carrying more than most people ever should have to at one time. They want their home to be safe and protected, and with winter coming up, the need for a new roof feels especially important.
This fundraiser is being created to help provide Melissa and her husband with a free new roof. The $5,000 raised will go toward making that possible, giving them one less major burden to worry about during this difficult time.
